SBT50 Monopoly Week 4 Tecniques

Bling chest *yay* which meant I could pick any of the four challenges, plus add some bling.
I chose Cutters Close which had to include fussy cutting and some leaves.

Charms Creations Heavenly Heart- a  perfect embellishment.
Close Ups of layered flowers with liquid pearls accent.

123 Challenge October

YOU STOLE MY HEART

This is a page I did for 123 Challenge Blog

SBT50 Monopoly Week 3 Colours

FANCY DRESS

This week the roll of the dice had me in jail (just visiting) so I had to scrap using just black and white, and also include something hidden. My vision was for something bold and elegant, yet still masculine. There are only a few elements to this LO but each has texture. The patterned paper is flocked, cardstock embossed and I stamped with white paint (rather than ink). The satin ribbon is attached to a second photo, that  slides up/down revealing the unmasked Zorro (LOL)

Here are some close-ups

As I remember, the dress-up outfit was a success, thanks in  part to the ceremonial sword which was borrowed from the grandfather. I seem to be scrapping this son (more than the others) a lot lately, perhaps because its been nearly two years since the last time he was in Australia.

SUYS October Challenge

BEAUTIFUL

Octobers Challenge to create a page with multiple photos and an arrow(s).

I was happy with balance of pink, black and white, and how well it worked with the photos.
The other side of the double layout (will post photo soon) has 3 more photos. What else can you do when confronted with too many cute pictures?
Embellishments  include a  Handmade Heavenly Heart by Charms Creations and cute Ladybug by  Rainbow Splendour

Arrows
 I added black rub-on arrows/text box by Bo-Bunny,
journaling with labeller using black on clear tape.
3D Flower
A special flower made with layers of cut out flowers, foam tape,
tiny drops of liquid pearls and some iridescent cellophane shreds.

SBT50 Monopoly Go Challenge

THE GOODO BIKE

First round of exciting challenge over at Scrapbooking Top 50. The criteria for each player varies, depending on what number between 1-5 you selected. All I can say is I had to use a particular word and object somewhere on the LO. This is the page I entered.

The photo(s) for the double page are from long ago when dragster bikes were 'the "in thing " and most houses only had one tv and it was black and white. How times have changed. Because the story is about a bike that I won by cutting out jigsaw pieces and re-assembling, I painted blank puzzle pieces, and then journaled on them.
Close up (above) shows the paper flowers with died hemp twine carefully coiled to form centre of flower, and some #7 cards I stamped, inked and tucked in. Below is peak of  the other side of layout. More journaling, flowers, washi and a cute stamped and fussy cut penny farthing,  (thinking of re-naming fussy cut to crazy cut)

123 Challenge September

SWEET

123 Challenge for September
This is my GD who was reluctant to wash off the face paint from a birthday party, so I snapped some pics and convinced her it was time for a bath. The layout was actually started a while ago but shelved (and a little lost),  So much happier with the changes I made -  especially the bouquet of tiny roses, and the fabric daisies on the shirt.

S.W.A.T. September Challenge

YOU & ME

This is the September sketch with the ' Twist ' to  heat or dry embossing. Below is my take on the sketch with dry embossing (using music folder and cuttlebug ) underneath the title.
Lots of stitching and distressed edges, some restrained bling and a few 3d butterflies.
Great photos of my Son and precious GD too, can almost hear the giggles :-)
